NFL player Russell Okung wants to create a new flag football league where players are paid in Bitcoin, called Bitball. The first game will be played in Abu Dhabi on December 10, with 24 professional players taking part. Okung believes Bitcoin will provide financial freedom for players and help to build generational wealth.
He also sees potential for new value creation in assets built on Bitcoin.
