Bitcoin tried to break into the six-digit price territory but was stopped just inches below $100,000, resulting in a drop of around $1,000. Its dominance over alternative cryptocurrencies, such as DOGE, ADA, AVAX, and DOT, has dropped in the past day, with these alternatives experiencing double-digit surges.
Despite Bitcoin’s recent positive business week, which saw its price surge to over $90,000, it was unable to break through the $100,000 level. The total crypto market cap reached a new all-time high earlier at over $3.5 trillion.
