Bitcoin’s price managed to recover and reached $71,500 yesterday, but it later fell by around $2,000 due to bearish pressure. The altcoins have been sluggish, with the exception of ADA, which is the top performer. Bitcoin reached $73,600 on Tuesday but couldn’t surpass its March all-time high of $73,740.
The bears stepped in and pushed the price down, reaching below $69,000 on Friday, before recovering to $71,500. The market capitalization of Bitcoin has dropped back down to $1.375 trillion on CG, while its dominance over other coins is at over 56%. ADA is the only substantial gainer among the larger-cap alts, soaring by 6% and trading above $0.35.
Other gainers include RAY (14%), XMR (5%), and MEW (5%).
