BIO Protocol, a DeSci project, completed its Genesis Round 2.5 of community token financing on November 13. The round raised US$2.9 million, with the total value of assets participating in exchanging BIO reaching US$2.93 million. Binance Labs previously announced its investment in BIO Protocol on November 8, although the investment amount was undisclosed.
This marks Binance Labs’ first investment in the DeSci field. BIO Protocol seeks to use blockchain technology to transform the financing and commercialization of early-stage scientific research.
