Binance Eyes Investment Opportunities in Middle East

On November 3, Binance founder CZ spoke at the second Gulf Investment Forum in Bahrain, saying that the country is friendly to cryptocurrency. After Binance received a crypto asset service provider license from the Central Bank of Bahrain, it also obtained a banking license from the CBB. This allows Binance to open channels for legal currency entry and exit in Bahrain.

CZ mentioned that Hong Kong companies are exploring RWA, but the price fluctuations of real-world assets make it difficult to create enough trading volume in the secondary market, leading to shrinking liquidity. He believes that innovators need to come up with real use cases to solve this problem. CZ is optimistic about investment opportunities in the Middle East and has chosen to invest in areas like blockchain, AI, and biotechnology in GCC countries.
