Bedrock Protocol Halts UniBTC Contract Amid Security Vulnerability; $2M in Losses

According to BlockBeats news, on September 27, the multi-chain liquidity re-pledge protocol Bedrock announced on its Telegram that the team has become aware of security vulnerabilities involving uniBTC. In response, the team suspended the contract to protect users and their assets. The team claims that BTC in the custodial wallet is safe. The BTC in reserves is safe and the total estimated loss from theft is approximately $2 million.

In addition, the team stated that it is actively coordinating with DEX, the security audit team and our partner projects to revoke the permissions. For permissions that cannot be revoked, the corresponding wallet address will be blacklisted.
