Los Angeles, California – Animoca Brands, a Hong Kong-based digital entertainment firm, has announced the launch of a new members-only NFT club in Los Angeles. The club, called Club 3, will be launched in collaboration with Planet Hollywood Group and Meta Hollywood.
Club 3 will join the league of exclusive NFT clubs like the famous Bored Ape Yacht Club. Members of Club 3 will hold CLUB 3 NFTs, which will give them access to exclusive events and experiences.
The move marks Animoca Brands’ entry into Web3, the decentralized web that is powered by blockchain technology. The company has been a longtime player in the digital entertainment industry, with a focus on mobile games and blockchain-based gaming.
Exclusive NFT clubs are not new to the cryptocurrency industry. Yuga Labs, which recently launched its inaugural Bitcoin NFT auction, leads the space with the Bored Ape Yacht Club. The club has gained a cult following among NFT collectors, with its members-only events and merchandise.
