AI avatars are becoming increasingly popular in the recruitment process as companies use artificial intelligence to make screening processes more efficient. Customer service software company Tidio recently found that 85% of recruiters believe that AI is a useful tool that can replace certain aspects of the hiring process.
Digital avatars that look and act like humans are being launched by companies such as Zeligate, Sapia, Hour One, HeyGen, Paradox and Synthesia, and are used for various purposes, including making presentations and during customer service and screening processes. However, there are concerns about the effectiveness and fairness of AI in terms of candidate evaluation and hiring integrity, with some people opposing the use of AI in reviewing job applications and making final hiring decisions.
