ka. The election process used a simple set of rules and was fully algorithmic, designed to provide transparency and eliminate doubts about the election results. Liberland’s official statement said the election was completed at 5 a.m. Central European Time on October 6, marking the first full deployment of the country’s blockchain-based election system. The micro-state, established in 2015, is located on the border between Serbia and Croatia and covers an area of only 7 square kilometers. It has not yet been officially recognized by any sovereign country or international organization.
