Nillion Secures $25M in Funding Round Led by Hack VC

Decentralized public network Nillion raises $25 million in new funding round

Nillion, a decentralized public network, has secured $25 million in a new funding round, bringing its total financing to over $50 million. The round was led by Hack VC, with participation from various venture capital firms and angel investors, including Distributed Global, Hashkey, Ansem, Arthur Hayes, Meltem Demirors, and leaders from projects such as Worldcoin, Injective, and Sei.

Nillion has developed the world’s first computer for blind computing, which allows sensitive data to be processed securely without revealing its contents. This infrastructure enables the creation of a new ecosystem of private data applications across all sectors, including AI agents, data marketplaces, private DeFi, and healthcare analytics.

The company has partnered with major crypto blockchains that require this feature, such as NEAR, Aptos, Arbitrum, Mantle, IO.net, and Ritual. Nillion was founded three years ago with the goal of building a future where high-value data is protected through decentralized and secure multi-party computation (MPC) and privacy-enhancing technologies (PET), such as homomorphic encryption.
