“Crypto Voting Bloc: 26 Million Voters Consider Digital Assets Key in Presidential Choice”

Bitcoin Surges as Trump Receives Millions in Crypto Donations; Presidential Candidates Battle for the Crypto Vote

The US presidential election race is heating up, and the race to secure the votes of the rapidly growing digital asset community is no exception. The survey further highlights that 34% of both Democratic and Republican voters in the US consider the crypto industry to be at least a “medium” priority for the president and Congress, while 32% of Democrats and 27% of Republicans believe cryptocurrency should be a “very high” or “high” priority for the next administration.

Interestingly, the research also uncovered perception gaps among voters concerning their preferred candidates’ stance on digital assets. A recent survey by pro-crypto group, The Digital Chamber, has revealed that 26 million voters, or a “crypto voting bloc,” consider cryptocurrencies an crucial factor in deciding who they will support.

This group includes both Republicans and Democrats, with nearly 40% of Black voters expressing the importance of digital assets in their voting decisions. Meanwhile, a report by Bernstein predicted Bitcoin (BTC) may climb as high as $80,000 to $90,000 should Trump win.

The survey findings come as Trump receives approximately $7.5 million in BTC, Ethereum (ETH), and XRP donations since early June, demonstratecasing the political importance of the crypto voting bloc. For example, voters plan to vote for Kamala Harris believe she is more supportive of digital assets than Donald Trump, while Trump supporters believe he is more pro-crypto than Harris.

The digital assets industry may benefit under Harris, as she is likely to be “more supportive” than Joe Biden, who has been accused of stifling the emerging industry for its perceived hounding of businesses engaging with digital assets. As the election race gets more intense, voters and politicians alike must pay attention to the growing influence of the cryptocurrency community.
