The origin of the technology is credited to the founder of OriginTrail, Branimir Rakic, whose presentation highlighted how OriginTrail could assist in driving widespread adoption of AI and Web3 technologies across industries like Real World Assets (RWA) in global supply chains, Decentralized Physical Infrastructure (DePIN), and improving AI models through federated access to training data.
The end goal of the technology is to provide a safe internet in the age of AI.
OriginTrail, an ecosystem focused on decentralizing knowledge graphs, received the best project award at the MIT Decentralized AI Summit held at the MIT Media Lab. Delegates from top technology companies like Dell, Intel, and NVIDIA were present to discuss the future of decentralized AI technology.
The summit concluded that OriginTrail’s decentralized knowledge graph could be critical in addressing the challenges of misinformation, deep fakes, fake news, and unreliable AI.
