Tether, the stablecoin company, has revealed that the adoption rate of USDT has soared significantly, with 330 million on-chain wallets and accounts receiving USDT by the end of Q3 2024. This figure is equivalent to the US population, and it doesn’t even include users who exclusively use USDT on centralized platforms, of which there are tens of millions. The growth in user numbers is accelerating, with each quarter adding more users than the previous one. The third quarter of 2024 saw a record-high number of new users, totaling 36.25 million. The average growth rate over the past four quarters was 9%.
