Circle and Sony Block Solutions Labs to Collaborate to Enable USDC on Soneium

According to BlockBeats, on September 16, stablecoin issuer Circle and Sony Block Solutions Labs will work together to enable USDC on Soneium. Soneium will integrate the cross-chain USDC (Bridged USDC) standard and establish cross-chain USDC as one of the main tokens used for value exchange on the chain. Cross-chain USDC can serve as a proxy for native USDC on Ethereum, allowing developers built on L2 such as Soneium to use USDC payments to support their applications.
