According to BlockBeats, on September 9, The Block reported that Solana ecosystem creator platform DRiP completed an $8 million seed round of financing, led by NFX, Coinbase Ventures and Progression, founded by former TikTok executives, with pre-seed round investors Placeholder, 6th Man Ventures and more than 30 angel investors participating.
The DRiP platform enables creators to distribute their work directly to fans as digital collectibles on the Solana blockchain, including exclusive images, videos, audio, and other multimedia content. It leverages Solana’s low transaction costs to facilitate subscribers to tip in any amount, rather than make purchases.
