According to BlockBeats, on September 5, Ethena Labs officially posted in the Discord channel that after listening to the community feedback from YT holders, it decided to remove all requirements related to YT tokens related to meeting the minimum valid USDe balance.
If a user holds or holds YT tokens, they will not be taken into account when calculating the minimum USDe balance. YT tokens can still be used to increase a user’s current effective USDe balance, but YT tokens will not be counted towards the minimum required balance. These changes will be reflected in the app tomorrow.
Ethena Labs apologized for its oversight and thanked the community members for bringing this matter to the team’s attention.
