DeSci Tokens See Surge After Binance Labs Investment

Over the past week, DeSci, or decentralized science, has become a hot topic in the cryptocurrency community. This surge in interest can be attributed to Binance Labs’ recent investment in BIO Protocol, which has led to various DeSci tokens like VITA, GROW, and RSC experiencing significant growth. One of the platforms driving this interest is Pump.science, a meme currency issuance platform created by the Desci project Molecule DAO.

Pump.science uses meme coins to support medical experiments, with its RIF and URO tokens gaining significant traction and increasing by 20 times in less than two days. Binance’s involvement in the DeSci field has also played a role in its recent popularity. Binance Labs’ investment in BIO Protocol marked the first time the company had made an entry into the decentralized science sector.

Additionally, Binance CEO, CZ, attended a DeSci Day event in Bangkok and expressed his hopes of seeing 1,000 DeSci projects emerge in the next year. The DeSci concept was initially met with enthusiasm in the Chinese community, with notable figures like CZ, Zee Prime Capital co-founder Matti, and Molecule CEO Tyler Golato showing interest and participating in events.

Large investors like a16z have also been drawn to the DeSci field, with investments in projects like AminoChain. Some noteworthy DeSci projects to follow include BIO Protocol, which is focused on building a global scientific research funding and cooperation platform using blockchain and DAO. Another project, VitaDAO, is dedicated to funding early longevity research and has already garnered significant interest and investment.

ResearchHub, which is associated with Coinbase founder Brian Armstrong, is another DeSci project worth keeping an eye on. In conclusion, the recent surge in interest in DeSci can be attributed to Binance’s investment and support, as well as the enthusiasm shown by industry leaders and prominent figures in the cryptocurrency community.

The future of DeSci remains promising, with many innovative projects emerging and gaining traction.
