Coinbase, a popular cryptocurrency trading platform, has recently seen a drastic improvement in its ranking on the Apple iOS App Store, moving from 26th to 1st in the free finance category. This increase in popularity is believed to be due to a significant jump in its trading volume, with CoinGecko data showing that the platform’s trading volume exceeded $12 billion on November 12, setting a new record for this year.
Following Coinbase’s lead, other cryptocurrency platforms like Robinhood and Crypto.com also saw a surge in popularity, both entering the top 10 in the same category on the App Store.
