Pennsylvania Police Warn Public About New Bitcoin Scam Targeting Seniors

The Pennsylvania State Police unit has warned the public about a new bitcoin scam that is targeting vulnerable people, especially seniors. The scammers contact their victims through email, phone, or other forms of electronic communication, pretending that there is fraudulent activity involving their personal information.

Using the guise of representatives from the victim’s financial institution, these scammers then instruct the victims to contact a fake support line for assistance.
