According to Reuters, Trump transition team officials are considering hiring top lawyers from Robinhood and bank regulators to develop a short list of candidates for major financial institutions to prese
nt to the president-elect. One of the candidates being considered for the SEC chairmanship is Dan Gallagher, a former Republican SEC commissioner and current Robinhood chief legal and compliance officer.
