Rekt Brands Raises 15M Seed Funding Sells Out Drinks Globally

Rekt Brands Inc., a company behind the Rektguy NFT project and Rekt Drinks, has completed a $1.5 million seed funding round. The funds were raised exclusively by angel investors and the community, without any institutional involvement. This achievement showcases the support Rekt received from its loyal and growing network.

The funding announcement comes shortly after the debut of Rekt Drinks, Rekt’s first consumer product, which sold out within 48 hours of its launch. The quick sell-out highlights the popularity of the Web3 brand and its potential to become a significant force in both digital and traditional markets.

Rekt was founded after the success of the Rektguy NFT collection, which was created by artist Ovie Faruq in May 2022. Since then, the project has expanded into Rekt Brands, offering equity in the parent company to its NFT holders. With the new funding, Rekt will be able to expand its product lineup and strengthen its brand awareness in and outside of Web3.
