US Senator Cynthia Lummis wants to establish a Bitcoin reserve for the US. Her proposal, called the BITCOIN Act, would have the US Treasury buy one million BTC over five years and keep it in secure vaults for
at least 20 years. Lummis believes her proposal will be successful because there are now more pro-crypto candidates in Congress and Republicans hold a majority in both the Senate and House of Representatives.
