Harris Defeats Trump in Washington States 12 Electoral Votes

On November 6, Kamala Harris won the election for Washington state’s 12 electoral votes, beating Trump, who was unpopular in the state. Washington has not supported a Republican presidential candidate since 1984. In the 2020 election, Joe Biden won Washington with 58% of the vote, compared to Trump’s 39%.

The Associated Press declared Harris the winner at 11:00 p.m. ET.
