The Certik Web3 Security Quarterly Report for the second quarter of 2024 shows a concerning increase in on-chain security incidents. With a total loss of $688 million, there was a 3
7% increase in the amount of money lost compared to the previous quarter. The main cause of these losses was phishing attacks, which accounted for around $433 million of the total.
