A 25-year-old was abducted along with three others from a condo in the city on June 21. The other three abductees were found by the police later that day. In August, a 32-year-old woman, Joanie Lepage, was charged with the first-degree murder of the 25-year-old and the abduction of all four individuals.
It is unclear if her actions were related to the victims’ involvement in cryptocurrency ventures.
